No, Mario’s not having a baby…as far as I know. Super Mario Maker and it’s current sequel on the Nintendo Switch, allows players to get to be game creators without hacking ROMs or violating copyright. It also allows the mundane a chance to be creative. We’ve seen hacks used for marriage proposals, so why not use an official game maker to announce the gender of your child? That’s what one couple did using Super Mario Maker 2. I love creativity. They even included the code so you can download and play the level yourself if you have the game.
