Will Ferrel is a good actor but the movies he does often follows a formula I just don’t care for. It’s the same dumb idiot trying to live in a world of slightly smarter idiots. It’s like a Daffy Duck cartoon done wrong. You know, the ones where he plays parodies of characters like Buck Rogers or Sherlock Holmes. So I admittedly have not watched Homes And Watson (speaking of Sherlock Holmes parodies) nor do I ever plan to.
However, Henry of The Closer Look did and apparently this comedy wasn’t so much bad as boring. Being boring is worse than being bad because at least bad can be fun for the wrong reasons. In this video he goes over the film and it’s misuse of clichés. There is a scene of someone throwing up so don’t watch this while eating. Also some swearing.

Watch Will Ferrell in the Stepbrothers movie. He and the actor who plays his step brother in the film are hilarious! Their “Boats and Hoes” music video and song are quite humorous!
Give it a try! That movie seems to play at least once a month on channels such as TNT, USA, TBS, or Comedy Network.

At least look up Will Ferrell and “Boats and Hoes” on Youtube. That clip from the movie will only take about 5 minutes to watch. It’s very hilarious! Trust me.
