As a storm rages through Star City, Vixen is wondering if John really cares about her while they, Green Arrow, and Black Canary try to help the victims. The cause turns out to be a lovers quarrel between Heat Wave and Killer Frost. The heroes try to get them to stop only to convince them to reconcile and attack the city intentionally. Luckily our heroes deal with the villains and Vixen learns that while John still has some feeling for Shayera he does care about her too.
What they got right: The DCAU version of John Stewart, Vixen, and Hawkgirl was an interesting love triangle going on and the comic works well with it. The action is good.
What they got wrong: I do question the science a bit. As powerful as Heat Wave’s gear and Killer Frost’s powers might be I think causing a story this destructive even on accident is a bit hard to believe.
Recommendation: A good bit of character moment that’s worth it for fans of the show but regular DC fans may not get into it as much.
