Author Brandon Sanderson, who I saw at ConnectiCon one year and was part of a press junket he was in that year, has had some amazing success crowdfunding his next book with his new team, Dragonsteel books. While the old guard of course had their fits that someone went around the system and right to the audience with a surprise victory before the day was out, Fansided contributor Daniel Roman of “Winter Is Coming” goes over why this isn’t the end of traditional publishing, just yet another option to getting work out into the world.
