I’ve never played a Doctor Who video game, unless you count some flash games on the BBC website or having a TARDIS in Second Life (technically three or four). Despite having more popularity in the US these days thanks to the Sci-Fi Channel airing the early seasons of New Who and being popular enough to follow to BBC America and now Disney+ for some reason as an exclusive, we never really got video games here in the US, even when PBS aired the original series and Fox did the attempted TV movie revival.

Since my planned article went bust and I have a doctor’s appointment (fitting) today, I’m tapping in YouTube contributor Good Vibes Gaming since the video is too long for a daily quickpost and not Saturday Night Showcase material. In this 50+ minute video, contributor John Cartwright goes over (supposedly but I can’t confirm) every Doctor Who video game released for computers since the show began and tells you what he thinks of them. Apparently many are not very good.

Destiny Of The Doctors I heard about thanks to someone on the internet posting video and cutscenes from the game, but as stated earlier I haven’t played it. I know the more recent games but I wouldn’t mind playing the LEGO Dimensions if only to get the physical LEGO TARDIS at some point…plus LEGO K-9! I’m totally up for that! I want one! The Adventure titles also look fun. The rest I think I’d pass on.
