My response from the comments: The limited series are easier to collect into trades, and they still want to make graphic novels (the comic equivalent of movies) rather than ongoings (the comic equivalent of a TV show). They still don’t understand why the good trades, the ones that collected the important moments or spotlighted a particular creator, sell the way they do and so everything has to be a trade because they’re idiots.
