Jessica uses chaos in a hospital to speak to one patient, who just got a butt whooping by some guy in a devil costume. Not that she cares that much since all she wants is for the “victim”, who was beat up about to shoot a guy for selling the future Daredevil punch balloon’s drugs without permission, to pay his child support. Now she wants to meet this “devil in the kitchen”.
Yes, this is a preview for the Netflix Jessica Jones series, connecting it with Daredevil, and really that’s all there is. The art is okay in the hospital but the coloring for the night sequences when the “victim” (I don’t even care to remember his name) is threatening the guy who muscled on his turf only to get pounded by Daredevil makes things hard to see. There isn’t much story here. It’s just Daredevil beats a guy up and Jessica tracks the guy down on behalf of one of his baby mommas.
In short nothing really happens here so unless you were that attached to the Netflix Marvelverse this is not a comic to go crazy trying to find.
