POW, the “Prosecutors Of The World”, think all governments are corrupt and just the two heads of the group should run everything. To prove they’re serious they targeted seven agents for assassination. However, Sarge and a lady French agent manage to hear about it and fake their deaths. Working together they break into the group’s headquarters and blow it up.
What they got right: The action’s pretty good. The French lady (because of course she’s the only woman on the list, so she can lock lips with Sarge later) brings a dog, who gets in on the action.
What they got wrong: Is Sarge an agent now or still a private investigator? The comic calls him an agent, he’s certainly acted like one in previous issues and this one, but when speaking to the press about his “death”, they call him a private investigator.
What I think overall: I kind of missed Sarge doing the noir-style narration in the text boxes. It’s not a bad story but they needed to decide what Sarge was, PI or CIA, and commit to it. There’s one more issue to go, so it’s a bit late.
