Still not a good remake of Pete’s Dragon.

In the main story, Bunnie, Antoine, and the others return with Sonic’s parents and Jerimiah while Sonic and Sally lead the other refugees to Knothole. They’re followed by Shadowbots, who are chased off by Dulcy. Arriving safely at Knothole, our couple are surprised that the King, at least unofficially, is fine with them going on a mission and has accepted Sonic is going to continue to operate as normal.

Does that mean the Freedom Fighters are back in business? Outside of a very short moment of Dulcy smacking around robots, not much happens in this story.

The includes the second tale, but as a history of the Great War it at least gives us some definite info. While on a mission, Jules was injured and the docs could only do so much. Chuck has an idea, which we know will be the roboticizer “Warlord Julian” messed with.

The summaries, and thus the reviews, are short because barely anything happens. There’s some movement to the story but barely. The fate of the Freedom Fighters are still up in the air. This would be a boring issue to come in on, and as someone who followed the series when it came out and is re-reading it years later, it’s still rather boring.
