Hardware, Choice, and the Solution steal Rex’s goons’ ship, but Rex tries to blow them up, then sees NM-E returning to him. Thus he thinks he’s eliminated Hardware and is prepared to attack more Ultras. What he doesn’t know is that the Alternate’s suits protected them, and whether due to the conditioning weakening on Choice or the explosion, her memories are starting to return. Rex’s group manages to return to Earth via Gate’s portal generating. Hardware and Choice return to Malibu while the Solution goes to meet their next client in New York. Once home, our duo find the money waiting as promised and a suggestion to back to the Aladdin base they visited with the Strangers for their answers on Choice.

What they got right: As the title says, all the loose ends are tied up, though there are still mysteries in the Ultraverse, like where Rex and The Alternate came from. “Rex Mundi” and “Regina” are translated from Latin into “king” and “queen”, so that might lead somewhere.

What they got wrong: It’s not wrong necessarily, but if you come in on this comic you’re getting aftermath from the “Break-Thru” event and set-up for the next story in this comic, and that’s pretty much it.

What I think overall: This isn’t the comic to come in on, but a good epilogue to what happened and start to what’s going to happen next.
