Our…protagonist celebrates a successful first mission as captain of a delivery ship for the SMCI, and in his drunken state manages to gamble away his next cargo and wake up in bed with the CEO’s wife. He runs off as he breaks in, and she rats him out to save herself from his anger. Escaping out the airlock, Caspian uses his ray gun as propulsion to get himself back to his ship.
Well, the title certainly explains what happens, as does the cover. That last part rarely happens anymore. The art is pretty good, while the story sets up the series and Caspian’s adventures along with his robot, CRB. I’m guessing his story will be recovering the cargo before it’s sold on the black market while staying ahead of his boss.
Overall it sounds like a fun premise. The preview issue at least isn’t gory, and only has a few swears where appropriate to the characters. I might want to look into more issues in the future.
