The Strangers arrive at Yral’s coordinates and soon find themselves dragged into a magical but hostile world ruled by Bastinado, a demon who can shut down the Strangers’ powers. Everyone except Atom Bob, though, who manages to convert and control the demon’s magic and throw it back at him. Defeating the demon the heroes try to return to the portal they came through from only to get lost and walk off a cliff. I’d make a “our heroes” joke but I suspect something was behind that. I could be proven wrong next issue.

What they got right: Good to see Bob deal with his insecurities and manage to fight the bad guy and win.

What they got wrong: I really don’t care about the sudden romances.

What I think overall: This may be a short review but it’s an okay story. Not great, but pretty good. Our heroes better hurry, as the Sky People’s king is being talked into waging war on Earth.
