The knight, Quixote, isn’t Snowden, and only challenged Warstrike assuming he was a threat. He takes Warstrike to Snowden, who the local worship, but he’s just a skeleton. However, when Warstrike touches Snowden’s skull, he is given visions of the past, that the senator killed his own daughter. It’s possible that the senator would have Warstrike so mad that he’d shoot first, not knowing he was already dead. Warstrike confronts the senator, but without evidence there’s no way to take him down…but he will be watching. And so is Blind Faith.

What they got right: As a twist this worked rather well, as Warstrike was becoming more and more aware of something not seeming right about the whole mission. For the most part the story has a decent ending…

What they got wrong: But there are still questions. Okay, the girl was adopted. It still doesn’t explain why he killed her (Warstrike has different theories and that’s it), and if this “brotherhood” the senator mentions was involved. Why is a big blond white dude guarding a Brazilian village, speaking in mock King’s English, riding a flying motorcycle styled after a horse while wearing armor, and why do they worship Snowden’s body? There’s just a lot of unresolved questions I don’t see being answered in the future.

What I think overall: It was an okay three issues, though the second was little funky, but while the ending was okay I don’t really have an urge to read the rest of the series now that this arc is over.
