Solitaire manages to knock of Djinn and make it to where the party is being held. Israel rescues Spice, but Anton got his party guests where Solitaire couldn’t warn them about the nuke. So getting past Djinn again, Solitaire takes Anton to the nuke, the villain accidentally giving away its general location. Anton escapes but Solitaire disarms the nuke and has the recordings…or would if Bug didn’t receive a call from Solitaire to erase them that Solitaire didn’t send.
What they got right: Solitaire has an advantage in everything he knows about Anton and Djinn, and he knows how to use them. We see further evidence of how big Solitaire’s operation is. It’s good he has so many allies.
What they got wrong: I’m kind of worried about this other person who knows Solitaire’s deal, mostly because I wonder how satisfying that answer will be. I would have preferred something keeping Bug from getting a proper recording. Convenient, but it would still allow the story to continue, and with only six more issues to go (they may not have known that at the time) I’m not sure we need an extra wrinkle.
What I think overall: I’m still enjoying this series. It will be a shame when it ends.
