I know my collection is spotty, but when did Aspen get the Witchblade?

A preview for the next miniseries. Aspen Matthews is finally back in our story as she returns to her now flooded (I think) childhood home. Memories come back to her about her mother, a storyteller, growing up in the blue, her father preparing for some kind of attack…all scattered and she’s not even sure what memories are real. All she knows is that she used to think she was an ordinary human but her mixed heritage is actually the Blue and Black, aspects of the Fathom universe she also wants to learn about as well as her true past.

The comic also includes promotion for the “Blue Descent” miniseries. Why there are so many miniseries instead of just one ongoing and some side series like Kilani and Cannon’s backstory I really don’t know. What I can say is that the art is really good, but as far as the story you need to know more than I do with the handful of issues I have digitally to really understand what’s going on. I have some basic lore ideas thanks to the previous issues, but while the story tries to get the important details there are aspects of the lore of the Fathom universe I understand less than Aspen.

Maybe if I knew more this would be an interesting preview, and I am curious to hopefully be able to explore the Fathom universe in the future, but as an introduction to the franchise, this might not be your best bet.
