Considering how often I’ve done my back bad just with the ton o comics I own…
Something I was thinking about for this year’s Free Comic Book Day post-comic, which was supported by my trip this year. These people work hard on FCBD. The crowds are bigger–you should have seen how packed the store was. That means more work, and my LCS had to bring in help to get it done.
So when you pick up free comics, please buy something off of the shelves or in the back issue bin? The stores actually lose money on FCBD because they have to pay for the comics, or at least the shipping, so give back and if you find a series you like consider going back there each week. You may even make some new friends when you visit.
