No time to do a bad caption joke, either.
Usually I only pencil and ink the comic on paper. Lettering and coloring happen in the computer so they come out better. My penmanship is less than spectacular and so is my coloring by hand. However, it takes a little more time, what with spot fixing and redoing certain areas, and clean-up and what not. Then I have to make various layers, move words around, mess with the word balloon–time consuming but worth it, comparatively speaking.
Just grabbing some coloring pencils and doing everything by hand is a bit faster, so I used that method instead. I wanted to get this up fast and get back to prepping for the convention. I had to use the old layout in order to get everyone in.
