And as a kid you probably would have watched it.
Oh I could easily add to the basic plot for “Godzilla and the Guardian Monsters”. How about King Caesar as the mentor sending the heroes (and all their other cool attack vehicles..now available in stores, bug your parents for our toys) to battle Ghidorah and his army of meanie monsters. Probably some kind of volcano headquarters for the heroes and the villains on the moon or some underwater base.
Of course nowadays Godzilla and the other kaiju are too much a part of our pop culture to screw up this badly. Or thinking that could be just letting your guard down and someone in Hollywood is coming across this comic and thinking “kids might get behind this…and the merchandising…$$$$$$$$$$$”. Because marketing types can actually pronounce the dollar sign.
