I’m looking at YOU, VH-1!
Someday I’ll dedicate a rant to this issue.
I’m getting close to finding the right size, and it’s only taken me 12 comics so far. 😛 Anyway, I wanted to make the explanation panels different from the usual Jake & Leon style (can you imagine Skeletor in that style, because I can’t). So I inked it using the wrong shade brush pen I have and colored in with coloring pencils rather than the computer colors I usually use. In later comics, I may show that Jake is a cartoonist and this is an example of what things he draws will look like.
And bonus points to anyone who knows who the guy in the center of panel 2 is, or gets the joke in panel 3. 😀 The first time I uploaded the comic, I forgot to put that joke in, so I had to redo it, and I tried to fix the size again. I’ll get it right sooner or later.
