Panel 2 based on something I heard on the radio.
The letter in panel 2 comes from an actual request I heard on the radio. One of Santa’s Helpers was looking over some of the letters from kids and kids who survived “Superstorm” Sandy were asking for underwear, food, and a new house instead of a Wii U or toys. According to the news report he had to stop reading all the requests at some point because it was breaking his heart. That inspired this strip.
What does Fizzbin learn? Than avoiding Aunt Sally’s fruitcake isn’t the worst thing happening to some this or any Christmastime.
