Who else started reading a comic after their show/movie/audio drama/novel?
Super Friends ws my gateway into the DC Universe and liked their stories better than Marvels in both formats. You hear about using shows to sell toys. Why can’t comics get the same deal as toys?
The answer is that toy companies enjoy being toy companies while comics have become a way to sell a movie or occasionally a television show. It’s not about the comics anymore which is why the Bad Fanfic Brigade can get away with a lot of the crap they pull.
