Not even kidding. This was an actual study. Which makes me wonder how bored some of these scientists and science students get.
This is the first Jake & Leon comic to be colored and lettered in Manga Studio 5. I wasn’t sure how to do the wood grain effect I usually have for the studio set so they’re hanging out in the green room. The joke itself is based on an old anti-drug commercial where the father confronts the son about finding drugs, and M’Gann’s response is the same as the son’s. The PSA has been parodied before me (my favorite is one where Darth Vader finds a lightsaber under Luke’s bed) but I thought this joke had to be made and I hadn’t seen it. Watch me get accused of ripping someone else off anyway. Such is the way of the internet.
