I’d say merging art styles will lose me readers, but I don’t know if anybody reads these or not.
This was something that was in the back of my mind until I really needed a Christmas comic for the week. (Not counting Captain Yuletide, of course.) Look at the elves of Santa Claus stories and compare them with elves in other fantasy stories. Or compare the cartoony reindeer we see at Christmastime with the real animal. How did those changes happen, I wonder?
