I have a comic strip with two cartoonist characters. I had to do something.
Around this time French satirists who spoke out against attack by fanatic Muslim groups were attacked and killed in their own offices. Cartoonists around the world paid tribute, showing solidarity with their fellow cartoonists. This was all I came up with because the most symbolism I’ve ever written was sticking unused comic characters in a prison cell. It’s not my forte.
