At least the rally can claim more worth than “let’s forget what Christmas is because jeans are on sale.
I don’t have a problem with protests, whether I agree with the protestors are not. The ability to assemble and speak your mind on what the government is doing is part of what makes the US such a great country. My problem are riots that damages the property and inconvinence everyone demanding you be listened to or else and think they’re going to WIN people to their side instead of possibly lose them.
But at least it’s more moral than Black Friday shoppers who forget they’re buying for Christmas gifts, push each other down, step on each other, and fight like 3-year-olds over the sale of a plush toy, and completely miss the whole point of Christmas. Leon was probably better off wearing slippers for a few days.
