I don’t usually give the supporting characters the punchline (or at least the smarter or more commentary-driven ones) but it just seemed like a good line for Max.
Fun fact: Clip Studio Paint doesn’t allow me to scan directly into it, so I use Paint Shop Photo Pro to scan and adjust the lineart. I forgot to resize it before I transferred it to Clip Studio, and didn’t realize it until I went to do the dialog. Luckily it came out okay.
