At least it’s something.
I’ve been trying to come up with ideas for enemies for this gag but nothing came up. For some reason the name finally came that worked and we’ll see his design and origin next week, but at this point I’ll take what I can get. The writer’s block jokes can only last so long.
The lineart came out weird in this strip and I think it’s because the initial lineart was saved in the wrong format. I usually save in PNG but the black and white page was a JPG. Also I’m having a problem updating Clip Studio Paint. Only the thicker lines came out, which I accidentally had for Leon’s hair in the last panel because I use the wrong pen, the brush pen I use for Jake’s hair being the one in my hand at the time. But I have a tighter deadline this week due to life stuff. Next week’s comic is already planned out so that shouldn’t be as big a concern if I start early enough on it.
