Maybe the show is good, but the trailer isn’t impressing me.
The trailers for DC Universe’s Doom Patrol series is giving us people who were broken even before they gained superpowers. They don’t look like superheroes much less DC superheroes. It’s not as bad as Titans but I am not interested in watching this and it doesn’t sell me one the streaming service.
For panels 2 and 3 I actually used screenshots from the trailer as my reference in place of the roughs. However, the aspect radio doesn’t translate to the panel layout, meaning I had to do a little guessing on panel 2 and a lot of guessing on panel 3. I’m not that happy with 3, but I did try to translate it into my art style and not just trace it Greg Land style.
