I realized I’m way behind on my Power Ranger parodies. I’m making up for lost time.
It was also an excuse to draw Beth in this style again. I’m really happy with the glow effect. While I used Clip Studio Paint’s pre-created glow action, which I learned about after seeing a tutorial about using actions, I tried to add a stained glass overlay to attempt to match the affect seen in Power Rangers Jungle Fury. I got close I think.
I just realized this is also the first time I’ve had Jake & Leon characters in a different art style interact with the parody, Power Rangers or otherwise. If it works I might try again some time.
