They’re even starting to admit they don’t care about the comics. It’s just a concept they can use to hide lack of creativity.
Sure Wonder Woman being the first superhero now is either because of the movie or “girl power” or whatever but she hasn’t been the real Wonder Woman since they dropped Rebirth, and even that was a slight respite from the New 52 “Lady Kratos” idea. DiDio will never learn because he doesn’t care, and that goes double for Warner Brothers, who just see movie ideas without understanding what we like about those characters. As much as I hate to even think it maybe we do need to bring in new characters that maintain the old ideals of superheroing and storytelling because it looks like the people in charge no longer care about either.
