Batman has a unique set of skills.
I think the idea of Batman having constant stubble started with Bane’s introduction, but that was a fatigued Batman who just had a non-stop marathon of recapturing a whole bunch of criminals at once. It doesn’t make him look tougher to have five o’clock shadow all the time. It makes him look tired, but if that is what they are going for, success! Wrong, but success.
