Mostly, I just wanted to draw Superman.
I had this joke while writing the story and decided to throw it in. It works since most of the story characters have masks and I really wanted to get some face practice (both drawing and coloring) in this style. Next strip is the villain reveal, which means more face work. Yay!
Between the “S” and the Transformers faction symbols, I’m not very good at drawing well-known symbols.
