Paying a comic character is easy. If I try drawing money in real life though that will earn you prison time.
Since this was for Art Soundoff I wanted to discuss the characters although I did it in my first Art Soundoff year when I drew the characters out. I also have the panel off-kilter to show Max is holding the camera by hand but I couldn’t find space to work it into the dialog.
For the record, Max I use to make fun of dumb marketing ideas. Bill and Meredith are “normal” people who don’t deal in geek culture, Beth is the POV of a kid, and Fizzbin the ultimate outsider. None of them are an aspect of me so much as characters for Jake and Leon to interact with who are decent people and more friends.
