I don’t know if Mister Sweets is gay or not. It doesn’t matter to the story. However I was worried that name would cause someone to ask. It’s why I avoided the caption gag “bankrolled by fruit snacks”. Unlike Herodude and Doctor Monkeyface I didn’t create the character design before starting this. He and the goons were designed as I went along in the comic.
