I don’t know if the same calls of celebration came out when Marie Javins was announced as the new Editor-In-Chief, maybe because we had enough time after Dan DiDio left DC. However, I just wanted to head off any celebration until we see the DC Universe (or at least what we liked before the reboot, which we had gotten with Rebirth) return to the comics. If the stories are still terrible and lack the fun and heart of why DC fans gravitated to DC over Marvel then there is hardly room to celebrate.
