Based on advice I’ve heard from artists with actual clients.
I was originally going to end this on a joke about the cartoonist drawing tools if you wanted to test them out but it kept falling flat for me. This one came up just as I started working on it. What it lacks in humor it makes for in working better than the original punchline.
Also, I noticed that Max is often the butt of the joke but because that was never his role I thought Jake could take the hit on this one.
