If it’s “just a mantle” then how did I only learn of Joaquin Torres half-way through the comic? Google “Falcon” and you only get Sam Wilson.
Not every superhero identity is a mantle, and treating it that way shows they don’t understand the point of superhero identities. Then again they hate the secret identity too.
