They aren’t even kind to their own characters, so why would they care about mine?
I didn’t have a strip all week. Finally some news came from New York Comic-Con that would make a great strip but it was close to bed and if I wanted it to look good I wasn’t going to have time to make it.
Lucky for me the regular J&L art style allows for last-minute strips like this one. Even then I had to cheat by hiding unfinished art behind word balloons in the last two panels. I didn’t have the option for panels 1 & 2 because the only balloons were on top of the panel.
