Has he actually forgotten he made the Mario Brothers movie people don’t like?
I may watch the animated Super Mario Brothers movie at some point but right now I’m still annoyed that Luigi, my favorite, sit out most of the movie, replacing Peach as the “damsel in distress” instead of just having them want to rescue Mushroomland’s citizens. I wanted to see Mario and Luigi work together. This is less than player 2 status. He’s an NPC now.
That said, people really seem to like it but all John Leguizamo sees is race. He still thinks the Italian character should be Latino because he played Luigi. I guess he played him as an adopted Hispanic instead of born Italian, so add that to things wrong with the live-action movie…as if the list wasn’t long enough!
