At least we know who would do the comic adaptation.
This was around the time that Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 came out. A few years earlier we had DC Vs. Mortal Kombat, which seemed like a very odd crossover.
If your really into all the behind-the-scenes stuff, this is the first comic in a while that I didn’t thumbnail out first. Instead I wrote down what would be in the boxes. Originally I was going to have on-screen graphics with Jake’s choice in panel 1 and Max’s in panel 2. Panel three would be the same it is now and panel 4 would be the usual Jake and Leon commenting on the game. As I thought about it, actually having Jake and Max play the game and having Leon ask about it worked better so that’s what I ended up doing. I think I made the right decision.
