I wish my reason for missing FCBD 2024 was so productive.
I had to miss the 2024 Free Comic Book Day because I got wiped out going shopping the day before. We go to the warehouse type stores once a month and then to local stores when we need something. Showing how bad a shape I’m in due to various medical recoveries and probably my age, I was too tired to go for comics the next day and missed out. That inspired this comic but I needed a different reason for Jake. Redoing his comic room seemed a very Jake reason.
