At least Christmas was safe this year.
It was when I was posting this to the site that I realized I forgot to add a word balloon to the bottom text in panel three and I’m annoyed. I was focused on trying to work out some software issues with the shading (turned out to be the idiot artist using Clip Studio) and totally missed it until it was too late. There were some backstage ideas that helped me improve the drawing in these strips. I’m getting better at that, though still not as good as I’d like. Drawing Mitch here in the seated position could have been done way better.
I managed to get all of the previously shown elves and reindeer into this storyline. Mitch was the first one I came up with, though Yulie is the first canonical Captain Yuletide. On the plus side I did get a Christmas tale for Jake & Leon while still getting to do something with the Captain Yuletide cast. Too bad I couldn’t fit Herodude and Captain PSA in here somehow.
