Batman doesn’t specialize in anything, including preparation.
All that talk about how Batman can totally defeat anyone with prep time. Okay, what if he doesn’t have time to prepare? Meanwhile, Bane has out-prepped Batman enough to learn his identity, break his back (and it was Jean-Paul who got revenge for Bruce on that one), and ruin his upcoming marriage to Selina Kyle. Excuse me if I don’t buy “prep time” as one of his skills. Or is Bane just better and this just proves the power of “prep time”? I don’t know. It’s too dumb an argument for me to care, really.
