At least you can’t accuse them of lying.
When I mapped out this strip I had a punchline in the fourth panel, but “this is just getting pathetic” didn’t feel right to me. When drawing it out in Clip Studio I actually thought it looked better without dialog. You can see Leon pointing out the actor is there (not sure why I finally settled on Jack Black, but I needed an actor/actress that works his or her way into almost everything) and you can see Jake’s disappointment. It does the job without a lame punchline.
