She is something of an expert.
I was originally going to have Jake talking to Leon here, but since it was the ghosts of Leon’s parents watching him and seeing what their son would become before going to heaven, it felt more right narratively to use Meredith, an actual parent. I guess Bill would have been an option as well, but this felt more like a Meredith thing. I think I made the right call.
