I drew the Earth, but you can’t see it behind the Red Ranger’s word balloon. 😦
This would be the last parody I knew I had the chance to draw Lord Zedd (my favorite Ranger villain to this day) so it’s a good thing this bit came along. And then I go and make his arms to small. Nice one. 😛 If you haven’t watched the series, during the Mighty Morphin’ Alien Rangers storyline Zedd messes with time so that the Rangers are little kids again.
The Aquitian Ranger outfits look cool to watch, but they are rather plain when it comes to drawing them. Created for Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, the helmets have no real detail to them and the outfit has barely anything. You don’t really notice how almost featureless the outfits are until you draw them. (Compatriot CFerra noted that they’re mostly pallet swaps, but I think that’s true for many Ranger suits.)
I’m getting better transitioning from computer/ditto paper to bristol board. Bristol doesn’t fold like the other paper, so I couldn’t just use the fold lines to make the panels. Luckily my T-Square has a ruler on it so I can mark where the lines go. I think I have the measurements, I just need to position the T-square right (notice how the horizontal line is on an angle). But I’m getting there.
