I wasn’t going to discuss the Spidey strip again, since I decided to drop it from my daily reading. However, Robot 6, a new member of the Comic Book Resources family, has a post showing the fallout from the Amazing Spider-Blog and Toon Zone. There was, however, an interesting comment from Rodrigo Baeza, and yes, I copy/pasted that.

According to Roy Thomas (who’s ghost-writing the strip) the strip will return to its regular continuity (with a married Peter Parker) after this flashback story.

This would be a good thing, if true. However, I wonder if that’s true. See, with all but Kurt Busiek pretty much trying to shut up critics of “Brand New Day” without any concern for Ms. Watson or her fans, I’ve grown into quite the cynic as of late. This is the first I’ve heard of it, but I haven’t heard Mr. Thomas being interviewed on the subject. Guess we’ll wait and see.

And yes, I’ll try to discuss something else for a while. 🙂 Although I’m wondering if I should give “Spider-Marriage” it’s own sub-catagory to Marvel Spotlight at this point.
