FNF:OPP Round 4> WHO is the better GL?

I know that Dan Didio and the Fanfic Brigade want you to believe that Hal Jordan is the greatest Green Lantern in the history of forever blah blah blah bullshivik! (I have this non-cursing rule here, but I think you get my drift.) Green Lantern #0 is one big Kyle versus Hal fight, and I could have taken like six different panels and prove them wrong. However, I chose the one that I thought fans would most realise “yep, that’s our Hal”.

Cliff Notes:

After the end of Zero Hour, Hal and Kyle end up on Oa and the then current Paralax battled then only Green Lantern. While Hal gets in two shots, the entire battle belonged to the graphic artist from New York. After Hal talks Kyle into giving up the ring, Kyle realises that his predecessor is still insane and wanting to recreate time to make him happy. However, nobody told Hal that this ring was more like his pre-Crisis ring of the really old days, and offers no protection while wearing it. So in the grand tradition of Hal getting knocked unconscious, here’s one more for What Were They Thinking‘s drinking game.

Just so you know, ringless Kyle there gets the ring back and proceeds to blow Oa to bits. Hardcore? Now who is the better Green Lantern? I grew up with Hal on Superfriends, but I think Kyle takes the crown here! Sure, someone might blame the “bug” that turned Hal evil, but that’s just trying to cover his allegedly fabulous rear!
