Help choose my next FNF logo

Spacebooger is prepping us for our next Friday Night Fight. The theme: Feet of Fury. I already showed you his teaser, but here it is again.

Well, anyone who has been reading my entries knows that I like to create custom logos for each tournament. Well, I have four logos in mind, and I don’t know which one I want to use. So I decided to let the people choose for me.

This may not end well.

I thought I would use the theme of a martial arts movie poster (or video box art) to put it together. But how to do it without photos? (You don’t want to see what my month of karate classes led to. I’m just not into all that shouting, but I’m too impatient to be a ninja. I need some middle ground.) Well, as I posted last week, I’m trying to develop an art style that is uniquely me. (And probably a bit lame, but I’ll never be Jack Kirby. Then again, who is?) So my first thought was why not draw the guy I needed?

I don’t know if I messed up the scan or not, but the lines come off kind of light. I suppose I could fix it, but the pose is hardly martial arts greatness. I’d be better off redoing it, but my time is kind of limited. And yes, I found the same or similar font to the one Spacebooger used.

Then I remembered one of my old sprites (from my failed sprite comic) has some good martial arts moves. So I grabbed the character my last screename came from, and got this.

Not bad, but some people hate sprite comics. Not my problem, except I want readers. (Which won’t stop me from trying another sprite comic in the future, mind you.) Still I tried putting my two styles together. First working together (which is why I tried to put Tronix in the same outfit–my skills are rusty)…

…and then against each other.

(Actually, that matches an old comic idea.) So here’s where you come in. Choose which of my four logos will make it into the Feet of Fury tournament! You can use the handy poll below, or the comments, but don’t cheat and use both, because you’ll suck if you do and nobody wants that. So if you comment, admit if you voted in the poll.

If I don’t get enough votes by Friday, 6PM ET (my posts usually go up at 7PM ET), then I will post a link to the poll on this week’s post, and the new logo won’t go up until next week. Thanks to any who help.
