The main reason I want to hit U-Con at UConn this weekend (the weather appears to be plotting against me) is the “That Guy With The Glasses” panel with Doug Walker. While our politics vastly differ, and there is a lot of cursing, his reviews of bad movies just make me laugh. (I also enjoy his “Video Game Confessions” segments. Except for “Pac-Man”. That’s just wrong in the bad way.)
And just in time for U-Con at UConn, The Nostalgia Critic is celebrating his 100th episode by reviewing a movie I’ve seen ripped on many, many times, but never had the urge to watch–Battlefield Earth. If your like me, and wondered if it really is as bad as people say, just watch this.
(Actually, this is another one of those times where Blip’s embed messes with the layout in the “click to play” mode but resizes for proper viewing when you click to play it for some reason, so I’ll put it past the jump. How come only some posts do this?
I’m also doing a special “Nostalgia Critic” edition of Jake & Leon for Sunday. Hopefully I get to see him in person Saturday.
